September 2009
Dear Lifeline Supporter,
As I communicated in the August newsletter, our new website is up and running. (www.lifelineministries.com) We went ahead and published it even though we still have a lot to add. When you visit the site, you will notice that we have posted an “under construction” message. The site will be unavailable for short periods of time (hours) as we continue to add data. We are happy to announce that our newest addition is a Prayer Bulletin Board. This addition allows us to reach thousands upon thousands of people in posting our prayer requests. This is exciting.
The last four months of the year look to be very busy with mission work in Mexico. We are engaged with several building projects as we close out the year. Please consider joining us, as we need workers. Ecclesiastes 1 tells us “What does a man get for all the toil and anxious striving with which to labor under the sun? All his days his work is pain and grief; even at night his mind does not rest. This too is meaningless.” A mission trip affords you the opportunity through faith, love, and hope to do something that actually makes a difference in your life. A mission trip continues to bear fruit long after you are gone. Please consider being part of the following teams:
1. Trip to Reynosa to evangelize and perform construction on a church. The trip is being lead by Brother Henry Miller. This team will also deliver Christmas gifts to the children. This trip is scheduled for the end of November.
2. Trip to Coahuila State, Mexico to build a new church. This trip is being lead by Gene Trulock, accompanied by South Georgia United Methodist Men. This trip is scheduled for the middle of November.
3. In October we are planning a trip to Reynosa for evangelism and house visitation.
Also, I will be visiting Reynosa and others areas of Mexico during the latter part of September. As you can see, we have multiple opportunities for you to join us in doing something for the Lord’s Kingdom, which will be everlasting. Please pray and ask God what He would have you do. Listen. He will answer you.
