Dear Lifeline Supporter,

Well things will never be the same in our Lifeline office. Computer screen savers are eternally changed, as are the greetings to vendors and visitors! Our administrative assistant, Mrs. Cindy Trulock is now a proud grandmother. Grace Addison Trulock was born to Glenn Trulock and his wife Cheryl on April 13 in Alpharetta, Georgia. Cindy has already visited Grace twice and Mother’s Day is just around the corner. Congratulations to Gene and Cindy.

I mentioned in last month’s newsletter that I would be in Mexico by the time you received the April edition. In the words of Brother Harrell Hemingway, “Praise Jesus”. We had a wonderful, eventful and successful visit with Daniel and Adamina Guerra. Lifeline was able to tile the floor of the church parsonage. Daniel and Adamina are such a wonderful couple in the Lord that they have always put the needs of the church ahead of their personal needs. Adamina had dreamed of a tiled kitchen for over ten years. Even though this kitchen is where they feed all mission teams, it had never been a priority. They were only asking for enough to tile the kitchen, but I was able to barter and negotiate with the supplier for enough tile to cover the entire house for less than I had expected to spend for just the kitchen.

We were able to preach in two church services during our visit along with an extended visit to the youth prison. Pastor Henry Miller preached the two church services and we had seven people accept Christ along with two from the prison. This is what I meant by a wonderful and successful visit. We were also blessed and humbled by a foot washing service on our last night of attendance. I hope to go back to Reynosa before June’s newsletter. School was out and I did not get to devote the necessary attention to the feeding program. This will be better served by a trip designated strictly for feeding.

You might know that I did come back with the flu and was sick for ten days, but praise God, it was not the swine flu.

We are planning several construction mission trips for the summer and as always, we need financial assistance and team members. I again promise you that a mission trip will change your life.  If you would like to assist in the cost of tiling the parsonage floor, please make your checks payable to Lifeline Ministries, and denote for “tile”.

Thank you for your continued support and may God continue to Bless You.
