December 2009
Dear Lifeline Supporter,
As I mentioned in last month’s publication, this is a busy time of the year for Lifeline Ministries. We currently have mission teams in Reynosa, Mexico and in route to Chihuahua, Mexico. These Christians are providing Christmas presents for the poorest of poor Mexican children. These will be the only gifts that most of these children receive this year! Please be in prayer for these men and women and for the welfare of their loved ones during their absence. It seems that this part of our ministry faces many obstacles each year. If we are not experiencing flat tires and blowouts, we can always expect harassment from the Mexican Border Guards; accordingly we ask that you pray not only for safe travel but also for cooperation with the Mexican authorities.
Lifeline thanks Bill Cosson for the use of a trailer in delivering these gifts. Bill, along with Butch Mosely and Bryan McClellan, just returned from Reynosa. These men are members of Climax UMC and they spent a couple of days doing electrical work for Daniel and Adamina’s church.
Cairo First UMC is planning a trip for December 30th and Gene Trulock is taking a team to Hercules, Mexico on January 9th. If you are interested in a life changing experience, please contact us at 229-228-5051 and Cindy will place you in contact with one of these groups. You can support these efforts financially by credit card through our web site www.lifelineministries.com or note on your check that your funds are for one of these particular projects.
We ask that you continue to pray for Lifeline and for sister Adamina Guerra. Adamina is still recovering from the stroke she had after her visit to Georgia.
Please visit our website. We are extremely proud of it. To keep up with Lifeline on a weekly basis, just go to www.lifelineministries.com.
