Romans 8:28   And we know that all things work together for the good to them that love God, to them that are called according to His purpose.

This is one of the most blessed promises in the Bible, but men do not believe it!  We have a difficult time

understanding why troubles continue to come our way.  The Bible does not say that all things will work out for all people.  Only to those who love God do all things work together for good.  In our hour of deepest sorrow, hardest trials, and greatest temptations, we know that these things cannot change the eternal word of God. The text does say all things and not some things. Not just the pleasant and easy things, but all things. Notice that all things work together now – this is present tense.  When the darkest hours come and Satan along with his demons of hell are all around you, and you feel that God has hidden His face from you, it is still at this time that God is busy and after a while the sun will rise for you and you will see that God’s loving hand was in it ALL THE TIME.  Yes, all the time ---every time.

God does not say all things are good, but He does say all things work together, not separately or individually.

The process seems hard, but we are being molded to fit His master plan:

Have Thine own way Lord!  Have Thine own way.

Thou art the Potter. I am the clay.

Mold me and make me after Thy will

While I am waiting, yielded and still.

Today this whole world is in a seething turmoil. Well, my Christian friends, the collective troubles of the world will work together for all the Christian’s good.  God will work it out all right.  In the midst of it all, our God reigns and that just happens to be the way I see it.
